Like New: An apparently unread copy in perfect condition. Cover is intact; pages are clean and are not marred by notes or folds of any kind. Suitable for presenting as a gift.

Very Good: A copy that has been read, but remains in excellent condition. Pages are intact and are not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged, no spine breaks, but may have faint spine lines. The book is clean and there is no slant or curve of the spine. For many, also considered suitable to present as a gift.

Good: A copy that has been read, but remains in clean condition. All pages are intact, and the cover is intact. The spine may show signs of wear. The copy can include "From the library of" labels or there may be a name or initials inside front cover or on first page.

Acceptable: A readable copy. All pages are intact, and the cover is intact though it may be creased or faded. There may be visible stains or other soiling.  If text is highlighted or underlined that will be stated in the book comments. In few cases, a page or two may be loosening or even loose but the comment will clearly indicate those flaws.

Other common flaws are Store Stamps, Marks or stamps on page edges, yellowed or tanned pages, chunks clipped or torn off or out. I always try to point out the major flaws in the comments.

We ship Internationally! For orders to be shipped to a  country other than the US we recommend Global Priority Mail or Airmail Letter Post in most instances.  Surface shipping is also available.  For larger orders we offer M-Bag shipping. Your books are carefully packed in either a padded envelope or sturdy box, whichever is appropriate for your order. Because shipping rates vary widely based on package size, weight and destination, we will always contact you if the shipping method you select at checkout is not available or is inappropriate for your order. 

If you are dissatisfied for any reason, you can return your purchase to Used Book Attic within 10 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price. We'll also refund shipping costs if the return was a result of our error.
